We are on the lookout for a Web Developer to join our growing team in Sheffield.

2J Design now have a full time position available for a Web Developer, our area of focus is on the Magento Platform, currently a team of 12 designers, developers and account handlers and one of Magento’s leading solution partners in Yorkshire.

This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic web developer to train in the art of Magento, the following is a list of must have skills.

• Strong HTML / CSS knowledge and ability to hand code.
• PHP/MySQL knowledge is an advantage
• Be a fast learner and ready to accept new challenges
• Show excellent communication and organisational skills.

Additional advantages but not essential
• Experience in Magento
• OOP Experience
• XML Knowledge
• Jquery

This position is open to junior developers and seasoned professionals, a salary will be discussed and based on skill level and experience.

For PHP Programmers training time will be allocated to get upto Magento Certified Developer Level.

For Front-end developers full training will be allocated to work towards Magento Certified Front-end developer.

Certified Magento Developers at 2J Design

With the ever increasing need for Magento and many requests for Ecommerce websites now stating Magento as their prefred choice 2J Design have certified 3 developers under the highly sought after Magento Certified Developer program.

This is a badge every Magento developer wants to see by his name and we are pleased all 3 of our lead developers have passed this certification with ease.
We are now in the process of training 2 of our latest developers ready to take the Magento exam by August 2013, we will also shortly be putting all our developers through the new certification which is available the Magento Front-end developer certification.

Our developers all passed with excellent scores as below:

Dev 1 – Passed the Magento Certified Developer exam with an amazing score of 68 / 70
Dev 2 – Passed the Magento Certified Developer Plus exam with an impressive 72 / 85
Dev 3 – This is our technical director who specialises in the logic and trouble shooting as opposed to developing on a daily basis and still passed with a score of 49 / 70 (Not bad considering this was in Las Vegas after only 2 hours sleep and quite possibly still drunk)
